Collection: Seascapes Art

Seascapes are created with high quality artist grade resin and pigments on a birch cradle panel with a 1.5 inch profile. Each painting has different stages to create depth and interest, to achieve this look the resin is poured in several layers on top of each other requiring a 24hr cure time between pours. Most of the ocean resin art is inspired by traveling and spending a lot of time on the beach. Janice also uses real sand in some seascapes giving it texture. Other pieces in the series are from an aerial perspective as if you were looking down on the ocean. Resin is a perfect medium to create a water inspired look as it is a fluid medium.
